We had quite a scare last week with little Jane. She came down with a fever of 105 that we couldn't break and no visible symptoms. The doctors did a blood draw and her white blood count came back at 26,000 (the normal is 4,000 - 10,000) We were all very concerned and began checking for all kinds of diseases - leukemia, meningitis, pneumonia, Kawasaki's disease, etc. Luckily we were able to rule out most right away, and eventually Jane began to respond to the daily doses of injectable antibiotics. On Friday, her white blood count was down to 12,000 and our little Jane was feeling more like herself. We appreciate all of your thoughts & well wishes through this scary ordeal and are so grateful to see Jane back to our healthy & happy little girl.

So glad she's doing better!! What timing for that to happen, too.
